Errazuriz Estate Reserva Merlot 750ml

The Merlot Estate comes from vineyards in the Curicó Valley. The wine was aged in a combination of French and American oak barrels for approximately 8 months to round out the wine and add a sweet sensation to the palate. The final blend was then fined, stabilized, and lightly filtered before bottling.


Tasting Notes

Colour:

Vibrant cherry-red color.

Nose:

Combination of black and red fruit and spiced notes such as pepper and cloves, and a hint of smoke.

Palate:

Moderate structure, with firm tannins predominating. Touches of toast and a fruity make for an elegant wine that retains its vibrancy thanks to its well-expressed acidity.
