Penfolds Koonunga Hill Shiraz Cabernet is very much a reflection of Penfolds winemaking style and philosophy. Sourced from premium vineyards across South Australia, the wine is known for its full-flavoured style with excellent shiraz and cabernet fruit, firm yet well-rounded structure and balanced oak.

Nose: Vibrant dark black cherry meshed with crushed fresh dark plum. All laced with warm spices - cinnamon & nutmeg. Beneath, scents of just-roasted lamb and rosemary.

Palate: Contented varietal notes enhanced by an earthy vegetable and tobacco leaf imprint. Medium-bodied - structurally defined, with supportive tannins (rounded, polished) and well-disguised oak.
